The fanciest student accommodation in the UK

Every student looks forward to moving away from home, but these student halls are definitely something to get excited about.

For some lucky—and wealthier students—there is some absolutely astounding student accommodation on offer across the UK. With slides, cinemas and high-end gyms to boot; these halls will make the average student green with envy.

Eclipse, Cardiff

These halls are incredibly fancy. Eclipse accommodation is situated in the city of Cardiff and is part of Collegiate’s Fusion collection. Collegiate’s tagline is 'limited edition living' and they are certainly not skimping on that statement.

Offering some stellar facilitates like their own nightclub, a themed private dining room, a private cinema, a gym and a dedicated concierge 24 hours a day, it’s enough to make your head spin. It's a wonder why anyone would ever have the need to venture outdoors—except for lectures.

The staff at Eclipse often organise exclusive events for the residents, allowing them to get stuck in with the Eclipse community and make some friends over table games in the party room.

Work is also made a breeze here with top-of-line working spaces designed to help students do what they do best—study.

The accommodation itself spans over a ridiculous amount of options from one-bed apartments, ultra-studios, penthouses and six-bed flats all with ensuites.

Rooms from £155.00 per week.
ViBe Student Living, Kingston-upon-Thames

ViBe is a super-modern, practical student accommodation that offers a range of fantastic facilities alongside spacious, gorgeously designed rooms.

Kingston has plenty of shops, restaurants and clubs, making it perfect for any student looking for a bit of the big city life without the bustle of central London.

ViBe has everything from a high-end gym, a cosy cinema, study pods, a private dining room, and a games room complete with a table tennis table and a pool table.

You can rent a studio, premium studio or a room in one of their five-eight bed ensuites. The studios have plenty of work and living space, including a fully fitted kitchen, smart TV and lots of storage.

Rooms from £175.00 per week.

The Festival Zone ? just one of our amazing spaces!

A post shared by true Glasgow West End (@truestudentglasgow) on

Glasgow is one of Scotland’s most popular cities for historical and cultural hotspots. It also hosts several universities with True Glasgow being well situated to allow great access to each one.

Some of the facilities include a 4K cinema, a library, an on-site café, communal kitchens, a gym and even a slide—which will definitely bring the big kid out of any student.

The overall design of the place is incredibly stunning, injecting modern, neutral tones with pops of colour. The building also has a lot of chill out areas such as their Festival Zone, which is covered in fake grass, ivy, and even has a full-sized campervan and deck chairs.

There are studios and shared apartments available.

Rooms from £150.00 per week.
John Bell House, Belfast

John Bell House offers something a little bit more traditional. Smack bang in the middle of Belfast—with close access to the university and local places of interest and shops—it's perfectly located for students. The inside is adorned with beautiful original pillars and marble designs; the main communal rooms are breathtaking, with high ceilings, stain glass windows and grand fireplaces. One of these rooms has been converted from an old auditorium.

Green tiling and deep oak woodwork coat the main rooms, giving it a very regal look—reminiscent of a stately home. The bedrooms, however, are wholly different and follow a more modern style, yet they are still comfortable and have a great student vibe to them.

This accommodation has plenty of room options on offer, you can choose to have an en-suite room in a shared flat, or even an en-suite studio room.

The rooms juxtapose the rest of the old style with bright and light colours, decked with sleek countertops and bathrooms creating a cool look perfect for any student. The shared space has a fitted kitchen, TV and sofas, and are all open plan.

Rooms from £125.00 per week.
Urbanest, Kings Cross, London

Possibly as central as any accommodation could get, Urbanest is located right next to Kings Cross and St. Pancreas station, meaning that all underground and train services are readily available so you can travel anywhere.

The building is designed just as its name suggests, urban. Urbanest has several social spaces, with one on the 13th floor allowing for some fantastic views of the city. It also has a huge TV and seating area along with great WIFI access. The other spaces are aimed towards study and are located on a mezzanine over the entrance. It has private, semi-private and communal spaces so you can choose how noisy you want it to be, or not. They also have iMac stations as well, so there is plenty of online access. The reception has table tennis and foosball, and it also leads to Cut and Grind—the onsite restaurant.

Urbanest has a great range of room styles with studios, ensuites and shared apartments for up to eight people. Most of these come with stellar views of London as well. The rooms are decorated with a city style in mind as skyline wallpaper can be seen on some beds and walls; the shared spaces have a great kitchen and classy dining tables along with plenty of sofas to chill out on.

Rooms from £299 per week.
