New Netflix shows to binge instead of doing uni work
Since no one actually enjoys doing uni work, housework—or any work in general really—here are the best shows on Netflix to binge.
Netflix is always there to help us forget about adulting for an episode (or seven).
This risqué teen show has already been a huge success for Netflix. The show explores topics such as female masturbation, losing your virginity, nudes and taking too much viagra, which has made it a huge hit with teenage and young adult viewers. The show has a diverse array of characters, with Eric who is a confident gay black man with a religious family, Aimee who is sexually confident and Jackson who is a black athlete with two mothers.
The show has already been renewed for two seasons—making it the perfect show to binge watch.
The Good Place
The Good Place is a fantasy-comedy, starring the likes of Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, that follows the lives of four individuals who have all died and found themselves in 'The Good Place'—an afterlife designed to make them happy for eternity. However, Eleanor Shellstrop realises that unlike everyone else in The Good Place, she shouldn't be there. This fast-paced show shifts the plot every season, with different twists, turns and cliffhangers that make it an addictive and feel-good comedy with even philosophical and moral lessons intertwined into the situations the characters find themselves in.
This psychological thriller—based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes—follows Joe, a bookstore manager who quickly falls in love and becomes obsessed with Guinevere Beck, one of his customers. Joe's obsession means that he will stop at nothing to make sure he gets with Beck. Netflix has been keen to boast about the success of the show, stating that approximately 40 million accounts had watched the majority of the show in the weeks following its initial release. With Season 2 already announced, this addictive thriller isn't going anywhere.

The most recent instalment, 'Bandersnatch', is an interactive film where you get to make the decisions for the main character, Stefan, giving you multiple endings to explore.
