The 6 Pantone colours that you need to have in your wardrobe this year
At the beginning of every year, Pantone announces its annual colours of the year.
This year's colours have gone on to inspire countless fashion bloggers and have been featured in popular fashion magazines, including Vogue. Here are some of my favourite outfits that use the Pantone colours of the year that can help to inspire your wardrobe choices this year!
Living Coral
Living Coral is one of the six must-wear colours of this year. Living Coral has the ability to fill us with enthusiasm and delight. Flamboyant and lively, the brightness of this colour brings to mind a warm ocean teaming with life.
Terrarium Moss
Terrarium Moss is a stunning, organic colour that evokes the natural world of healthy plants, bringing a sense of vitality and liveliness to any outfit. I believe we should crack on, and embrace this amazing green this year. It would be a unique colour either for a jacket, or a pair of shoes, in order to make you stand out from the crowd.
Pressed Rose
Pressed Rose is a colour that quietly charms. A muted pastel shade that distinguishes itself from brighter pink colours by being gentler on the eye which makes it much easier to wear. The subtlety of this shade makes it a must-have in any wardrobe this year and with a little ingenuity adaptable to most social settings, from casual to formal.
Princess Blue
Trust, security, authority and majesty are qualities I associate with this colour. A colour that suits different generations and professions. Whether you incorporate this colour as a dress
or a handbag, you could wear this colour at a formal event and you will instantly be phenonmenal and eye-catching!
Aspen Gold
Aspen Gold is a spectacular autumn colour like a ray of sunshine late in the day creeping through the autumn trees. Gloriously bold yet equally suitable for day or nightwear. Don’t be afraid to start off with this colour using smaller accessories, such as scarfs or earrings.
Toffee Brown
Toffee Brown is a classic colour, a must-have in your wardrobe. Incorporating this colour will lead to a deep, elegant look. The brown tone can be easily matched with different shades such as orange, yellow, beige and white. For example, brown combined with beige is probably one of the most timeless combinations of colours. It will give you that memorable look you’ve always wanted which will never get old.
These colours are all great choices for your wardrobe, by looking at the Pantone colours of the year you will ensure that your wardrobe is bang on trend.
