Daisie: the app designed by Maisie Williams that connects creatives

Finding potential collaborations within any creative industry can seem extremely daunting, with intimidating social status and possible lack of connections standing in your way.

Collaboration and communication is key to bringing your work to life in any creative industry.

It is extremely easy as an artist to get closed off and feel the need to protect your art as others trying to give an input might seem like they are trying to invade or change your vision. However, to be successful and to grow you need to open up, let people in, get second opinions, and work with others; opening your mind as an artist and individual.

Being a creative herself, Maisie Williams—better known as 'Arya Stark' from Game of Thronesunderstands exactly how hard it is to break into the creative industry and the importance of collaboration, therefore launching an app 'Daisie' with the purpose of bringing creatives together and supporting them to flourish as creators.

Daisie is an online platform with an easy to navigate social media feel that offers the tools for creatives to collaborate with others to build a digital portfolio of work that they are most proud of.

Once logged onto the app, the site is categorised into a variety of creative sections, including film, fashion, music, literature, design, makeup, gaming, and a wide digital content section. Within each section, creators can post examples of their work to show other users their latest projects. Daisie creatives can also offer up their talents to collaborators, or request collaborations and feedback from other extremely talented members.

Getting the ball moving for collaboration on Daisie couldn't be easier as users can simply directly message each other on the platform and utilise Daisie's collaborative tools such as it's digital workspace feature. This feature allows each person working on the project to make notes, share concepts, add new files and see real-time activity and progress made on the project.

Despite today's society being more connected than ever before, it seems that the focus is still all on the individual. With popularity, personal influence and social standing ultimately determining where and to whom your creativity reaches, collaboration and communication have never been so difficult; however, Daisie makes the process easy. With its innovative choice to not feature a follower count, Daisie leaves each craft to speak for itself; letting collaborative work be created not based on the artist's amount of followers or social status but purely on their talent and ability to inspire others with their work.

Daisie's mission to see creators grow in confidence, dominate space in their fields, and build impactful and lasting careers is a refreshing breath of fresh air for anyone with a creative passion.

You can start your first exciting collaboration at desktop Daisie here, or download it for free on the App Store.
