5 famous YouTubers that have committed serious crimes

YouTubers seem to live a perfect life in many eyes. They get a good wage off of just filming themselves living the best parts of their lives, but this is not always the case.

Here are a few YouTubers who went down the wrong path, or got in trouble for filming a part of their lives that they probably shouldn't have.

1. Onision

Gregory Jackson, more well known as Onision, has been on YouTube for over a decade. Formerly considered a friend of Shane Dawson, he was quick to show his true colours when he began showing behaviours of what could only be described as sociopathic. He rated underage girls' bodies that posted inappropriate photos in his forum, was exposed by another ex with some texts showing him trying to manipulate her into getting a 'liar' tattoo on her lower back purely for 'breaking their relationship contract', and trying to pin Shane Dawson as a paedophile with no evidence whatsoever. He seems to be a jealous and apathetic person which is what lead the internet to despise his character.

He is now in some legal trouble due to destroying wetlands and was fined. He also lost a court case appealing against the fines, but many people think that some of the things he has done on his channel are far worse than this.

2. Cameron Dallas

Cameron ended 2018 with a felony assault charge after supposedly beating up a man who was 'bleeding from injuries to his face'. Dallas claims that he was trying to protect a loved one at the time to his 38 million combined followers. He was charged with second-degree assault and was released on a $5,000 bail.

3. Romeo Lacoste

Running out of room! ?? too many tattoos or nah?

A post shared by Romeo Lacoste (@romeolacoste) on

The internet was shocked to find out that Romeo had been sending young teenage girls explicit messages via Twitter and Snapchat. A few girls screenshotted the things he said, which included discussing getting them drunk and having sex with them, along with conversations much more explicit and disturbing. Lacoste had previously tattoed Justin Bieber, the Dolan Twins, Ariana Grande and many others who now are speaking out against him. Romeo has fled the country since the allegations came out.

4. Olivia Jade

There is speculation as to whether Olivia was in on this crime or not, but many find it hard to believe she is entirely innocent. Olivia's mother was arrested and charged with fraud after bribing the University of Southern California with $500,000 to get her and her sister, Isabella, into the school. The story broke with a huge amount of backlash and Olivia has since dropped out of school and has been living low with her boyfriend Jackson Guthy ever since, claiming that she isn't talking to her mother because of it. Since then, she has been dropped by many brand deals including Tresemme, Marc Jacobs and her partnership with Sephora.

5. Kandee Johnson

Back in 2010, makeup artist Kandee Johnson was charged with child endangerment and does not have custody of two of her children after leaving the kids in LA while she was away on business. Officers said that the house was 'littered with dirty dishes and remnants'. Her 13-year-old son at the time was not attending school and she would have had to face 90 days in prison if she had not made her kids go to school. The judge at the time stated she was 'not doing enough'.

Do you think these YouTubers should be forgiven? Who do you think is the worst of the bunch? Let us know in the comments.
