5 brand spanking new Netflix releases you should definitely check out

Have you just finished a good Netflix series and need something to fill that void?

Or do you need something to help you wind down after a long day at uni? Look no further, here are five must-see Netflix shows to check out this March.

1. The Order

A teen vows to take revenge against his mother's killers, by joining a secret order that is in a war between werewolves and those who practice dark magic. This teen horror is a cross between The Vampire Diaries and Teen Wolf, with a romance to boot. So if you're still mourning the end of The Vampire Diaries, give this a try now.

Release date: 7th March
2. Osmosis

This brand spanking new thriller set in Paris is the French version of Black Mirror. The premise of the show is that scientists have developed a new dating app that embeds itself in its host, collecting data from their brain so they can find their true soulmate. However, as we know with all thrillers, they wouldn't be good if things went happily after; this little app has its downsides. So if you like science fiction with a contemporary spin, then why not give this a try.

Release date: 29th March
3. Turn Up Charlie

With an all-star cast featuring Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston and Piper Perabo, this is sure to be a Friday night winner. Turn Up Charlie follows bachelor and failing DJ (Elba), who is looking for his one chance to make it big. His dreams have come true when his famous best friend (Hiddleston) asks him for a favour... only that favour is to babysit his angst-ridden 11-year-old daughter, Gabby, played by Frankie Hervey. Get ready for a fun, lighthearted comedy that is sure to win your heart.

Release date: 15th March
4. Jimmy Carr: The Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits

The UK's most sarcastic and filthy-mouthed comedian Jimmy is coming to Netflix with an anthology of the most outrageous jokes from his entire career, in this one time special, that is sure to leave you in stitches. Watching this will make time fly like an arrow, so order in some Domino's and get ready for a night of laughs.

Release date: 12th March
5. Santa Clarita Diet, Season three

If you've never seen this show, what have you been doing? In this dark comedy, America's sweetheart Drew Barrymore plays suburban real estate agent Sheila who dies and becomes a zombie, and you guessed it, craves human flesh. Instead of running for the hills, her husband Joel decides to stay (I mean who wouldn't?). Executive producer, Victor Fresco has said season three 'delves more into the mysterious couple Paul and Marsha, who appeared in season two as well as the Knights of Serbia.'  Expect to see more of Sheila's cannibalising in season three, as she and her family deal with her new cravings.
