4 restaurants every foodie needs to try in Birmingham
Not sure what to do tonight?
If you are a foodie like me that enjoys eating out in unusual places, then read on!
Here is a list of some of the most amazing street eateries around Brum:
Posted by Digbeth Dining Club on Thursday, 22 February 2018
Does trying a few different dishes from all around the world whilst socializing with like-minded people sound good to you? Located in the heart of Digbeth, just across the road from the Custard Factory is one of my favourite places in Brum, Digbeth Dining Club.
Each week they have different vendors, who prepare the most amazing street food. Dishes vary from Burgers to Carribean inspired bowls and Dim Sum. One dish will cost you between £5-£10, plus £4.50 for a pint and £1 for entry.
2. 1000 Trades
Located in the Jewellery Quarter 1000 Trades is an independent bar and kitchen. They operate kitchen residencies meaning that each month they have different talented chefs who create their own menu. Pretty cool right?! This month the chef from Earth & Salt is doing all the magic. One of the best things on his menu is the soft shell crab BLT bao. Head down to Jewellery Quarter before the 3d of March to try it.
3. Original Patty Men
Love a good burger? Original Patty Men is the place! Open only Thursday to Sunday, these guys sure know how to make a delicious burger. With a price tag of less than £10 for a burger, it's a must try. And if that wasn't enough, they have a variety of fries for you to choose from.
4. Indian Brewery
Is Indian food your all-time favourite? Why not try this modern take on Indian food. Expect loaded naans and chaat bombs. They have their own beer as well, which is brewed in Birmingham. So, not only will you be trying some amazing food but also supporting a local independent business. People like them so much, they've had to expand and are thinking of opening another branch!
