4 films every fashion student should watch
There's nothing better than a night in with a good film and lots of snacks.
Here are my four top film suggestions that every fashion student needs to watch.
The Devil Wears Prada
A true classic—and my all time favourite—this film will not disappoint! You'll follow the story of a young journalist that starts working in a high fashion magazine.
Confessions of a Shopaholic
This one is a hilarious comedy about a young woman battling her shopping addiction—something we can all relate to! Watch this one with your girlfriends, or even your boyfriend if he is into films like that. Confessions of a Shopaholic is the perfect chick flick!
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Featuring the beautiful Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's is a timeless classic which was based on a book. It is a fun comedy full of glamorous outfits and beautiful scenes that will make you want to visit New York.
House of Versace
This is more of a biographical film centred around the history of the House of Versace. Unlike the previously listed films, this is not a comedy. The film details the tragic death of Gianni Versace, the owner of Versace, and the struggles of addiction that his sister, Donatella Versace, had to face when taking over the fashion house. This film will be perfect for anyone interested in the history of the big brand.
