Summer fashion: here are the hottest fashion trends for 2019
This year’s summer fashion trends inspired and seen by the catwalks at New York, London, Paris and Milan are now available in high-street stores.
Whether your summer plans are travelling to sunny destinations or partying at the best festivals and raves; these trends will get you looking fashionably ready for the summer.
Here are five fashion trends that will keep your wardrobe looking on point for this upcoming summer.
Neon: it can never be too bright
They say fashion always comes back around, and this 80’s trend is definitely one you’ll see this summer. Many celebrity influencers have been seen in the trend; mainly Kim Kardashian wearing her neon pink, fit to perfection dress, made by her husband Kayne West from his Yeezy line. From pink and green to yellow and orange; as long as it looks like a shade of a highlighter, your outfits good to go.
Crochet: the ultimate 70’s dream
Bohemian hippie vibes have already been seen this year at festivals such as Coachella, and they are appearing back in everyone’s wardrobes just in time for summer. From swimwear and beach cover-ups giving a summer aesthetic. To tops, skirts and dresses, being paired with an edgy biker jacket; this trend can really work any way you want.
Tie-dye: sophisticated hippie vibes
Also taking it back to the 60s and 70s, tie-dye is making another come back. As originally seen as a symbol of individuality and creative expression, the ‘re-birth’ of tie-dye is taking a modern twist. Using more sophisticated colour combinations, different materials, and unexpected shapes is some of the ways this trend is evolving for 2019. Whether you like bright colours or not, I’m sure this trend will make an appearance in most people’s wardrobes this summer.
